2013 summer finale

@ Dhio Endheka Spring Resort
Buang, Tabaco City

The best thing about this summer, the sunny weather extended up to the month of June. It's really something new here in Albay having sunny days especially at this month. And even if I am no fanatic of the sun since my energy drifts whenever  I am under the heat of the sun, I did enjoy this late outing with my siblings and cousins.

The resort has been here for decade but this is only our second time. And we didn't even swim and roam around during our first visit. To make the most of it, we took time now to take pictures of every area of the resort. I admired the garden, the mountains at the back, the running water,  I was envious of  the adjacent residents washing clothes on a free flowing water, and of course the clean pools.

But what was disappointing were the cottages. I think they lack maintenance or are they no longer expecting occupants at this month? And minus point also is the parking fee that didn't came cheap.

And of course a reminder, there were 120 steps on the stairs going up and down. Not really advisable for the oldies.

their version of the pirate ship... i've heard that there used to be a wave pool here

Susy!!! my Daragueña recruit

Susy & I, the year that was...her first in Bicol...
sana ganyan uli katawan natin on our next picture with Mayon

After eight I years I guess, naka-gala kami uli ni suzy sa Bicol na magkasama. Who would have thought na magkakaroon talaga ng reason para babalik-balikan niya ang Albay. Siyempre, I am so happy with her marriage to a pure Daragueño  at ngayon may reason na siya para mag-aral ng Daragueña.

We started our journey at Caltex Daraga since she came from Malabog, and me, from Anislag. We proceeded to Legazpi Grand Terminal to take the van plying theTabaco City route. Dito kasi memories din namin when we visited LCC to check the branches of the shoe company we worked for. And funny, wala na talaga ako maalala but the moment na may hawak siya ng sapatos sa loob.i thought I would remember once we are there. Haay, blame it with aging, I really find it hard to recall what I’ve been through.

the plaza in front of the church

We just drop-by at Tabaco church and had lunch at (was it icebreak or iceberg?) ayan limot ko na naman agad, it's a stone's throw eatery from the city hall. We then headed to Ligao via the Sabloyon road. Ayun walang katapusang chikahan uli.

St. John the Baptist Church

Our next stop was at Kawa-Kawa. We had fun taking pictures at the Last Supper. It was still fun until the fourth station of the cross. Kasama na ang refreshments in between. Upon reaching the view of the "kawa", we opted to end the journey.

Suzy@ the last supper,

the man in violet was kind enough to take our pictures

jump higher susy!!!!
a cute shot, di pa kami napapagod niyan

i love green,green grass
nice shot! parang ang lamig

susys' turn

I was really thinking of going to Camalig for Hoyop-hoyopan cave, but i was so exhausted too that  i just wanna sit and eat something cold. We just decided to be back in Daraga and had our merienda at Colonial Grill.( where are our pics susy???). We tried their pili and sili ice cream. The pili was superb but bicolana that I am, the sili was too much to handle. It's still worth the try though.

as what the photo says, you can choose from sili, pili, tinutong and malunggay flavor

the sili ice cream.nakakadaya ang color.dapat siguro super red

susy modeling for pili ice cream...puwede na

But next time around, it would be nice if we would just hang out in a nice place and have our never ending conversations. Susay, what about lazily sitting in a lounging chair in front of an infinity fool while sipping ice cold coffee?
