For the second year in a row, we were among the crowd who braved the afternoon sun to watch the much awaited part of the month long festivity, the Street presentation.
Of course, it won't "wow" Crissy who is used to Dinagyang and Pintados. I was missing the drum beats too, but over all, the parade had improved a lot from last year. It just looks like the Daragueños are not supportive enough for activities like these. I don't know I can't help the comparison, Ilonggos are always excited when their festivals are coming and they talk about it with such pride.
But it's so heartwarming when we we bump with no less than the Governor himself, walking with the crowd. All I was able to utter was a quiet "Good afternoon po!"
