Hindi ko gusto magpakasenti- kasi
masaya at excited ako sa decision namin to leave for Manila pero in a way
mami-miss ko din ang city that became our home for the past two years. So
ironic that we thought about this option while we were waiting at the airport
in Manila for our flight back to Iloilo two months ago. Siguro it is an
advantage too of not having a baby yet, the decision became easier. What became
difficult was the realization that we have to carry again heap of luggages
back.
Anyway, now that we are about to
leave, I began to appreciate again things that I have loved when I came to live
here. I love the comfort that the city offers, you know malls and restos in
proximity, without the noise, air pollution, and traffic. The only time traffic
became a real headache here was when the fly over was under construction. At
sobrang traffic during its construction. I especially love riding jeepneys on
weekends when the street is just so peaceful.
I will miss the many times na
nilalakad ko lang ang buong Calle Real, most of the time I came from SM Delgado
all the way to the Bureau of Immigration at the back of Freedom Grandstand. You
ako makatiis not to drop-by at Roberto's. I'll have my burger and siopao there
at magtitake -out ng chicken sotanghon or pancit canton. And because I used to
live alone, obligado ako lagi na ubusin. Mami-miss ko din ang chicken sandwich
sa JD @ 49pesos. It was full meal for me kaya I can have only that for lunch. I
even brought one when I went home to Bicol. We were on a connecting flight kaya
right in front of SM Delgado.
Saka pala 'ung pancit
Molo dito sa bahay. Hindi ako masyado fan ng chicken inasal because I rarely
eat chicken.
Oh! I will miss going there and seeing those breathtaking sights.
luto ni ate nena, our land lady..i'll miss her cooking.kaya ako tumaba dito dahil sa mga luto niya |

Beyond compare talaga, kasi lagi ko iniisip kung saang national road na ba ako nakadaan na ganon katindi ang lubak for the longest time and I couldn't think of one. (wow just pass the other day and bongga ginagawa na ang kalsada.)
I will miss saying “What a lovely
day!” I really love the blazing sun here and the formation of clouds which is
just so awesome. My office before has quite big open field, and I had all the
luxury of time to sit outside and enjoy the great view. Parang pang-painting
lagi ang natatanaw ko.
Mami-miss namin ni Crissy for sure
ang pag-attend ng 5:15 Anticipated Mass sa Sto. Nino Chapel kasi pareho namin
na favorite si Fr. Nene. We would listen to his radio program too, “Dialog with
Father” sa I fm on our phones.
“Straight to the Point” ni Rod Tecson. He was my alarm clock when I was still
for sure mami-miss si R-dawn,he has a segment sa TV Patrol Iloilo na tipong
Mark Logan ang style ng reporting. Kinaiinisan niya actually at lipat niya agad
ang channel. Kaya pang-asar ko sa kanya was to increase the volume when I held
the remote.
And I will miss our violet
room...this place we rented and called home for more than two years will always
be worth remembering.
aming married life, hehehe.
And indeed we are.
We did have our plans well-thought
and we have prepared for these kaya it isn't really life-changing. Of course,
we will always be back here from time to time since it's his hometown.
But wherever the future may take us, as long as we can be together, I see no
problem with that.
