Holy Day & Holiday

 December 30, 2007. Holiday. At 8am we were at the hospital compound to fetch father and we were off to Tiwi, Albay. It has been part of the religious belief I think of the Albayanos to visit Tiwi’s church at least once in a year. The miraculous Our Lady of Salvation still gathers devotees up to this day. When we were young we used to go there too every year together with my relatives on the mother side. And pa, would often argue then, why would we visit there when our own patron saint is also our Lady of Salvation. Anyway, it didn’t came as a surprise that when we arrive there, we were greeted with familiar faces. 

And as always after that, a day at the beach would follow. Siyempre pa, we all had fun in the water especially the children. Kahit na parang nakikilangoy kami sa basura when we arrive. The good thing was, after an hour nawala na din. Of course, sobra-sobrang baon na pagkain at alak for the boys. After we had sunburns, we dropped-by at the Albay Parks and Wildlife, to which TN, treated all of us. Nag-enjoy ang mga bata at mga isip-bata like me, especially the biking part. Talaga naman ayaw na nilang umuwi. Sayang lang at we had no time to climb at the Lignon of which I was dying to experience. We reach home past seven and had dinner again ng sabay-sabay. Hayun, lights were off early at tulog lahat sa pagod
